TAXIS occupy only small port of transport industry in toronto...so why do they get mega media all the time ?....in my lifetime in toronto....i have only used taxis less than 20 times...many people are the same ....yet public transit which occupies most of transport industry gets rare attention in the corporate media....why ?

CORRECTION ...COMBUSTION OF FOSSIL FUELS CAUSE...CLIMATE CHANGE .... PHOTO  FEW  YEARS AGO FINCH AVE...A MAIN EAST  WEST ROUTE THROUGH TORONTO WAS SHUT DOWN ...DUE TO FLASH FLOOD..

BY FAR BIGGEST POLLUTER OF GHG/CO2  GASES INTO ATMOSPHERE ARE THE BILLION OR SO CARS ...ALONG WITH TRUCKS,BUSES,PLANES AND THE INFRA STUCTURE NEEDED TO SERVICE SAME (EXPENSIVE ROADS,BRIDGES ETC..).....WHY IS THIS INDUSTRY GETTING A PASS FROM GOVT..AND MEDIA....BE INFORMED GO TO LEMMING5 TO FIND OUT THE TRUTH ABOUT CAUSES OF CLIMATE CHANGE....THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH

After many weeks the rally/protest at Toronto main police station on college street is still going strong ...congrats to the many volunteers who contributed their valuable time and energy to make this event a sucess..
