. . . . . . . IN CLIMATE CHANGE,THAT IS ^ ^ ^It's new years eve in Toronto,Yippee ! ^ ^ ^ and for the past 7 days it's been off and on raining and ocassionally sunny but NO SNOW ^ ^ ^ BUT THOSE DINASOURS AMONGST US STILL INSIST ITS NOT CLIMATE CHANGE BUT SOMETHING ELSE ^ ^ ^I'M A BELIEVER.

Some of the side effects of climate change are happening already ^ ^ ^ ^A lot of ski -ing places have still not opened for the season due to lack of snow ^ ^ ^This is happening all over the world ^ ^ ^causing unemployment for the staff at these ski resorts.^ ^ ^locally a hardware store has a very large supply of snow shovels on display in front of his store ^ ^ ^again,no snow to shovel ! ^ ^ ^ still again city of toronto (3 million) has not used its very large fleet of equipment for snow removal causing unemployment for all the workers.One more side effect of a very mild winter happened in usa today in the state of iowa,where the rivers and lakes normally freeze over,this year water has not turned to ice causing the bald eagles to not migrate to warmer climes.And still people say we dont have climate change.The evidence is overwhelming to the contrary.

. . . . . .I JUST LISTENED TO A LOCAL TALK RADIO SHOW AND I CANT BELIEVE THE PROPAGANDA THAT THE HOST WAS PROMOTING ^^^THE SUBJECT MATTER WAS ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE,IN PARTICULAR ABOUT A LARGE ICE FLOE THAT SEPERATED FROM ELLESMERE ISLAND IN THE ARCTIC.THE HOST WAS DISCREDITING ALL THE SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE THAT MAN WAS RESPONSIBLE ,AND INSTEAD PEDDLED SOME CRAZY THEORIES ABOUT SOLAR FLARES.^ ^ ^ ^ It does not surprise me that he has this opinion since his radio station is generously financed by the commercials for the automobile industries,but it is sad to see the media being influenced by the almighty dollar,while completely disregarding the environment that his backers are destroying.

. . . . . about climate change,that is.People often say about the weather,so what if the temperature goes up or down one or two degrees,big deal ! So they say.But it is a big deal,for example,today in Toronto,a few days before Christmas guess what ?it's raining,and it has been raining the past few days.If the temperature was 32 degrees fahrenheit or zero celsius,it would be a white snowy christmas.It's now 4 degrees C. so we have a green christmas.What a difference only one degree makes.

Nobody reads it ^ ^ ^ ^I may try to put a counter on my site to see if anyone visits,it requires some effort to do.I have looked at many sites offering info on blog ranking but so far havent been able to change it much no matter how good the content is.I firmly believe the robotic nature of the search engines,and the sheer number of blogs makes it hard to make a dent in the blog popularity.

Is this cfc light bulb a good invention ? In my opinion yes and no.As far as electric consumption it is really good using roughly 70% less electricity than a similar filament type bulb.But it is still expensive(3 times) plus sales tax,and it is even more difficult to recycle,since it is made out of several different materials namely metal socket,ceramic base,and a glass tube.

IN THIS CORNER IS A COMPACT FLOURESCENT LIGHT.IT HAS BEEN HAILED AS THE GREATEST INVENTION SINCE SLICED BREAD,BUT STILL THERE ARE A FEW GLITCHES TO IRON OUT. ^ ^ ^ IN THIS PICTURE IT IS RECESSED DEEP INTO THE CEILING I ASSUME TO ALLOW HEAT TO ESCAPE.^^^BUT BY RECESSING INTO THE CEILING ONLY THE CURLY TIP OF THE BULB IS VISIBLE,THEREBY CUTTING OFF THE LIGHT SOURCE SO THAT ONLY A FRACTION OF THE EMITTED LIGHT IS ALLOWED TO ESCAPE .KIND OF DEFEATING THE PURPOSE OF THE LIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

. . .But not surprised that a friend was so misinformed about causes of climate change.I believe that this friend is typical of many people in this heavily industrial region(car makers)They prefer to deny that motor vehicles are a major cause of greenhouse gas emissions.I guess that brainwashing by the automakers is still effective.
