LIKE THEY ARE DOING NOW AT THE TAR SANDS IN ALBERTA AND FOULING THE OCEANS,FORESTS WITH POLLUTION IN THE AIR AND WATER IN VARIOUS PLACES AROUND THE WORLD.WHEN U REALIZE THAT UP TO 50 % OF EVERY BARREL OF OIL IS USED TO MAKE GASOLINE FOR AUTOMOBILES...IT BECOMES VERY CLEAR WHO IS BEHIND ALL THE ENVIRO DESTRUCTION.... THE CULPRIT IS THE CAR CULTURE LIFESTYLE THAT PLANET EARTH IS BRAINWASHED INTO ADOPTING AT THE EXPENSE OF THE ECOLOGY ....TIME TO CHANGE PEOPLE'S LIFESTYLE OR DIE IN A SUFFOCATING POLLUTION FILLED PLANET.

DCist music editor Amanda Mattos reports that a letter signed by some 250 scholars, from Ken Burns to David McCullough, puts Wal-Mart on notice: "The Wilderness is an indelible part of our history, its very ground hallowed by the American blood spilled there, and it cannot be moved."
