200 PRIESTS PROTEST

Tens of thousands of South Korean car workers have added their voice to opposition against resumed US beef imports.

The workers, along with about 200 priests, joined weeks of anti-government protests on Wednesday, gathering at Seoul's city hall to condemn the government of Lee Myung-bak, the president.

The protest came a day after US beef returned to South Korean stores under a deal Lee struck with the US in April.
